First off, we were giving a time between 7am and 9am, which is all good. They arrived at 10.50am, one of the guys rang in sick which is all good, but there was no communication, i had to contact them to ask what was going on. The two guys arrived and were really nice guys, but were quite slow, took them 4 hours to pack up a truck with a very minimun amount, we had already moved our packing boxes the day before, they damaged the walls with furniture and some of out items arrived damaged. I hepled them unload the truck at the destination to try make it quicker. Total time was 7 hours. Then the phone call to the boss, only wanted cash or payment over the phone, no bank transfer. No compenstaion for lateless or damages. Then asked to get a photo with there 5 stars, i refused and said it wasnt 5 stars. Be careful because there are hidden costs, extra for stairs and heavy items. Cost me over 1330 dollars to move ten minutes away. Wrote an email to the sales lady to contact me on the Monday -and have"nt heard from them at all. Pure Scammers. Get Mini Movers, they cost more an hour but they save you in the long run. *My Experience with Movealist** I was over an hour late waiting for the movers. When I called to inquire about their delay, they mentioned they had to pick up another person up, despite having quoted me for two movers. In the end, I had to pay for an extra person, which contributed to their lateness. By the time we reached the settlement, we were still packing over an hour later and had to load some items into our cars ourselves. There were several items damaged or broken , including a lead-lighting bedhead insert and a chipped dining chair . They didn’t even tell us only found out when unpacking.I had advised the movers to dismantle the beds and other items, assuring them they had the necessary tools. Unfortunately, they didn’t dismantle anything, so I had to do it myself—thankfully, I had the tools on hand, or it would have been a struggle to reassemble everything later. I had full-length glass display cabinets on all four sides with multiple glass shelves. I left the packing of these to the movers, hoping they would wrap the glass properly for better protection. However, they simply wrapped the cabinets without removing the glass. When they undid the blanket, two shelves had come loose from both cabinets, and I was fortunate they didn't break, as they landed on other glass shelves. I had marked all fragile boxes with "Fragile" labels. However, the movers treated these boxes carelessly, packing them in whatever way they could fit—sometimes sideways . I’m still unpacking and am unsure if anything is damaged but I did back these items well. Moving lacked training and did not use the right equipment eg trolleys or electric truck lift , relying solely on muscle power. Item have been left on truck email company haven’t heard back yet. When they left, I noticed a broken wooden chair snapped in half .that wasn’t ours left on the curb in the pouring rain. Overall, I would not recommend this company. They did not take adequate care when handling our belongings.its a shame because I went off there reviews read Update 11/11/2024 Received phone call about this review ask if they gave compensation if we would cancel review or give them 5 start review. I said no replacing / fixing furniture will cost over $1000. A person came to get what we thought was our chair but they wanted the broken chair from another the costumer which was sitting in the rain for days broken in half. It wasn't broken before it left they the old house we move Monday and we was on side of road till Saturday before we took to dump .we have pictures of it not broken before our move . Nick got every angry about us throwing out that chair I rang them about it and they said the trucks are always empty before starting job. They would have notice it because one of them was on a motorcycle they stayed about 30mins to and 1 hour because of the the rail so if it was so import why didn’t he ask us to keep it inside for them? We also found more damaged items when unpacking and here are updated pics of those items and missing medial pull-up handle . repliedMovalist02 Nov 2024

In July we had Nathan, Amit & Rakesh move us. They did an amazing job. We have a step driveway, stairs & a couple of very heavy objects (fish tank & a piano.) These guys easily navigated these obstacles. They showed plenty of care, willing to wrap anything & willing to move anything. I would highly recommend Movalist & Nathan, Amit & Rakesh.
