How did you decide to get into your line of work?

Pete is a tinkerer and has been fixing things around the farm and anywhere else since he was in nappies. This is what he was born to do. Now he is lucky enough to be able to do it on the Sunshine Coast.

Made one of our favourite customers smile when we were able to repair her engine instead of her having to wreck her car. She'd been quoted up to $8000 elsewhere, we quoted and did the job for $3000 - very happy customer.

Most customers want to know that it won't cost them anymore than what I've quoted.  If there are any changes that may increase the cost, we will ring the customer to get their permission first before doing the work.

We pride ourselves on our customer satisfaction.  We live in a small town, and word gets around fast, so we need to ensure we are reliable and trustworthy. People are raving about us, so we know we are doing things right.

It's important to know the year of the vehicle, the particular model and the engine size. Many cars have several different engine options, it's important we have the right information.

Bring the vehicle to us - that way you don't have to pay our time and travel costs Give us a good description of the problem so we can quote it correctly Don't pull it to bits for us.. this could end up taking longer to put back together

The fact that it is just Pete, and we work from home, which means our overheads are kept to a minimum. We don't have huge staff costs or huge overheads.  This is what makes us competitive and the best.

Depending on the type of vehicle of course, our services range from $150 - $450 including parts and labour. Also, we offer a guarantee. If anything is not right, we'll put it right.

We specialise in our customers. It is our goal to ensure our customers are 100% satisfied, or we will work with them until we achieve that.  We have not yet had one customer leave unhappy.
