We hired MLC Contracting to lay concrete around our new pool, a pathway around the back half of our house and a deck. Mark and his team were professional, hardworking and accommodating in our requests. We were given a written quote after Mark came to site. He communicated with us throughout the job so we were on the same page. We are very happy with the end result and would have no problem hiring them again for any future jobs.Vijaya

Job Type: Gardening
Location: Camp Hill, QLD
I had hired MLC for planting the hedges and for setting up an irrigation system. At the time of bidding for the job, the company and its partners were very proactive. When it came to actual delivery of the work , here is how the saga unfolded. 1. It had been agreed that the tall Lily Pillies , of minimum height 1.5 to 1.6 will be planted. What though got planted only had a height of 1.2 to 1.3 m. A small compensation of $200 discount was applied to the final bill to make amends though given this was supposed to be a privacy hedge , the purpose of planting the hedge had been completely defeated. 2. The irrigation system was not correctly laid out . Request to alter the position of water hydrants were not complied with . I was promised an irrigation system layout diagram but none has been supplied till date. 3. Calls made to the person who attended to the job was unanswered . When finally I got across to the other partner on One flare , I was offered no resolution. It seemed the company is a contracting company and has limited expertise in garden jobs, not the impression that I was given when they bid for the job. Basically the job done was substandard . Topped with the fact that the company shows no customer service orientation and this has been my worst experience with a service provider, I would not recommend this company no any one. They are good at minting excuses not just so good at their core competence.Rohith

They did a really good job at a very reasonable price. I got them to do landscaping, concreting and installing gates. Those were done in a very professional way despite having to stop work in between because of heavy rain. Mark was able to get other workers come over and finish our job on time when he got busy with all his jobs getting delayed by rain. I highly recommend them.
