Our Mad Dog’s trainer will work with you and your dog to understand and alleviate any behavioural or training issues. Our dog training services always start from your home, which help us understand your dog's lifestyle and their behaviour best. We will then go out and about, expose your dog to its behavioural triggers, work on it to replace the bad behaviours for better ones, helping you and your dog to feel more confident, relaxed and happier. We aim to provide a clear plan following the initial assessment, and guide you through a tailor-made training program where you become your dog's trainer. Our professional dog training and walking services are all mobile, always available at your door. What we do: DOG TRAINING Solo Training Walks: $79.95 (45 min session) Does your dog pull on the lead? Run or bark at other dogs or traffic? Is your dog nervous on the walks or gets reactive? Solo training walks might be the solution you have been looking for. Our Solo Training Walks are specifically designed for dogs with problematic behaviour, such the ones mentioned above. Here is how it works: our Mad Dog’s trainer will pick your dog up for its first full 45 minute Solo Training Walk. We will go out and about, visit different environments, expose your dog to its triggers and work on the skills defined. At the same time your dog will also have a lot of fun while learning better behaviours. All the physical and mental stimuli throughout the session should fulfil your dogs needs and you will have not only a better canine citizen but also a happy and very tired dog after each session. This service combined with our In Home 90 minutes family training Session will get the best behaviour from your dog. Please contact us for more info. In Home Dog training: $269 (90 minutes session by time appointment) Our In Home Training session is private, starts at your place with you and any other person that handles the dog. In the session we will show you handling techniques and give you practical instructions and advice that you will apply on a daily basis to improve the dog's behaviour. We should be able to address all the issues in a single session. You will get a lot of information valuable information and handling skills throughout the session and you should be prepared to be your own dog's trainer, which is our main goal. Depending on how you and the dog respond to the new learned techniques in the week or two after the initial session, we will then decide together if you need follow up sessions to improve your handling & communication skills. To get started, we just need you to fill in our online registration form for dog training available on the dog training page in our website. As soon as we receive the form, We’ll learn more about your dog and design a specific training plan. After the training plan is ready, we will arrange the session date/time and, hands-on! GROUP DOG WALKING SERVICES Single group walk: $39.95 (1 hour walk at the park plus time travelling) We will come to your house and collect your dog in our modern, air conditioned van. We will take up to 4 dogs in a group and drive to a local dog friendly park or beach. The walks are a full hour at the park, so a typical walk will mean your dog is out of the house for a couple of hours. After the walk we will drop your dog home, happy, socialised and tired! We will even post pictures on Instagram so you can see what your dog has been up to. Extra dogs from the same house $25.05 per walk. Doggy Daycare: $65 ( two consecutive walks, 3 to 4 hours in total time) We will take your dog out on multiple group walks, so he will stay with us for approx. 4 hours (half day care), or approx. 6 hours (longer day care), and spend the day cruising around the local parks and beaches with lots of other dogs to occupy him. Much better than being stuck at home or in a day care facility where they spend the day inside, instead they are free to roam, exercise and explore freely with other dogs. All our rates are GST included. We always adhere to our core values: 1. We always turn up, rain or shine. 2. Our walks are always a full hour at the park. 3. We always have one person for every four dogs. 4. We can always walk your dog if we know by 5pm the night before. 5. Your dog will be travelling in the van for no more than 30 minutes. 6.
