We are fully insured for public liability. We are happy to offer food tastings as we understand that clients are investing time and money for their functions. Conditions do apply.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

An absolute love of good food and wine. From that passion, we built a business by marketing directly to corporations in our area, and later launching a website to attract private clients.

Over 24 years, the stories are many! A finger food barbeque for 650 builders in the unfinished basement of a CBD building; a misty mountain wedding for 50 guests in the Dandenong hills; the launch of the Titanic video with staff dressed in period costume; a "Steam punk" wedding for 90 with all guests in costume; a printing conference at the Polly Woodside........

Our passion for this industry comes firstly from a love of good food. Secondly, from creating a successful business. Thirdly, from providing great service and making our clients happy.

They should ask for testimonials; word of mouth recommendations; the background experience of the caterer and proposed staff; be open and direct about their requirements.

What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?

How long staff stay at functions- my answer is a minimum of 3 to 4 hours, depending on the day of the function, and as long as the client may need them after that.

We do not have a café/restaurant so can concentrate solely on catering to our clients' needs with no secondary business to distract us from that task.  We also offer testimonials from previous clients.

What type of catering does the customer has in mind, e.g. sit down dinner, cocktail food etc When the event is planned and what type of venue will the event be held in, such as a private home, hall, winery, park etc How many guests are expected and the day it to be held. If drinks are required. If staff are required.

For an event at a private house- Have kitchen benches as CLEAR as possible Be realistic about how much your guests will eat and drink Be guided by the experience of your caterer

A gift of a bottle of wine for the client (white, red or sparkling) once a booking and payments have been made. A minimum of $500.00 spend applies to this offer.

Our aim is to provide QUALITY catering at the appropriate price structure. We pride ourselves on our flexibility and ability to meet our clients needs, including their specific budget.

How do you normally charge for your service?

We have pricing indications on our website and more detailed pricing on the menus we email to clients. After discussion with clients about their needs, our proposal/quote gives pricing in detail. We later  email an invoice with all payment methods detailed.

We cater to all styles of food; buffets, cocktail foods, gourmet barbeques, banquets, sit down dinners, corporate lunches, great sandwiches, themes and we pride ourselves on our ability to interpret our clients' needs and tailor our menus to their needs.

We have over 24 years experience with both private and corporate clients, we have qualified chefs, and professional wait staff. We love food and keep abreast of new food trends but keep in mind what our clients want.
