When hiring a photographer you should:  - Ask what style they shoot in (so that it meets the style you are after) - What is the processing time on the photos? - Did the photographer take all of the photos on the website? - What is included in the price? Will there be any extra fees for travel or for digital copies?

After studying creative communications and working as a commercial studio photographer for 5 years I decided to take the big leap and start my Adelaide based photography company "Little Car Photography" in early 2012! I've always loved to communicate through imagery & photography has kept hold of that extra special place in my heart. Candid portraiture using natural light is my speciality, but more than that I am a people person.

I guarantee my work to be of a high quality; that not only you will be happy with, but that I will be happy with as both a business owner and an artist.  You can rely on my skills as both a photographer and a people person to get the best photos of you, your friends, family, partner and/or staff. I know how to get a smile, and how to wait for "that moment", I love to shoot candid portraits, but I'm also not afraid to ask small or large groups of people to pose. As the owner and operator of this business, I personally work to get you the very best end result.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

To provide an accurate quote I require the following information:  - Type of shoot eg. Wedding, portrait, corporate etc - Required Hours coverage (if not known, a rough guess) - The number/type of photos you want Eg. If you want a wedding photographer, how much of the wedding do you want covered? Do you have any special requests? - Location. Is the location greater than 20km from Adelaide? Is there much travel involved during the shoot? - Do you want all of the photos shot, or just a selection?

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

To save money on your photography you should follow these 3 tips: 1. Always plan your shoot, make sure you know what you want & feel prepared (so you don't miss anything, run over time or have to reschedule additional shoots). 2. Think about what you need and don't need, then try to find a package that gives you just that without expensive unnecessary extras. Or if you want the whole lot, try and book it all at once and work out a great deal. 3. Printing photos yourself can save you a lot of money! Photobooks and canvas prints can require design or Photoshop skills, but your standard prints can be done at any reputable, local photo printer.

I keep my prices reasonable & consistent, you won't pay more for wedding portraits than you would for family portraits. I don't overcharge for travel and I make sure all my prices are based on a reasonable hourly wage for all work involved.

My photography packages are as flexible and unique as you are! You can choose from any of my pre-made photography packages, or you can custom design your very own package on my website and get an instant online quote! Whether it's a portrait package or a wedding package, I don't have a surcharge. My rates are based on the many hours that I personally put in to every shoot.

After studying creative communications at the University of South Australia I worked as a commercial studio photographer for an International Publishing Company for 5 years. It was an amazing experience that saw my skills as a photographer grow through years of practice and mentoring from other industry professionals. However, I felt that my creative needs weren't being fulfilled, and in early 2012 I decided to take the big leap and start my Adelaide based photography company "Little Car Photography"! Working for myself gave me the freedom to photograph a wider variety of work, and focus on what I love. Candid portraiture using natural light is my speciality, but more than that I am a people person. An attentive photographer that you can trust, backed up by years of experience and an artistic eye for detail.  I use my experience, education and passion for photography to tell stories and capture moments.
