How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I started in landscape photography as I've always had an appreciation and love for the natural world and enjoying beautiful places. I started taking an interest in taking photos of people, studied and learnt a lot and have managed to combine the two genres to create some amazing imagery.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

I love working with people who are relaxed and love to have fun. A lot of my couples come to me a little stressed about getting in front of the camera (I get that, I get that way too!) and by the end of it they often tell me how much fun it was and that they were totally unexpecting to enjoy it so much.

I love capturing natural, organic moments, which are often the in between and behind the scenes. I live for the epic moments in amazing locations and stunning light. I couldn't be more passionate about photography and I hope that shows!

I think the first important step is to take a look at their website and social media to get a feel for a photographer's work and vibe. While there will be a difference in environments, colours and locations etc, you should be able to get a consistent feel from their work. They should also be someone you feel comfortable talking to as there's a good chance you'll be spending a lot of time with them!

I'm professional, friendly and reliable and I work extremely hard to ensure my clients are so happy that they want to refer me to their friends and family and become long term clients themselves.

I tailor my packages to my client's individual needs. I suggest chatting with me over email or phone so I can get an understanding of your needs, and help you get the best coverage within budget.

My pricing reflects the quality of work and service I provide. I have invested in and use professional quality equipment, and have the same quality backup equipment so that should a problem with equipment arise on the day, my clients wouldn't even need to know, and the day / session runs without a hitch. I aspire to work with clients who value and appreciate quality.

I provide my pricing via my wedding investment guide or detailed in an email for other session types. My pricing is clear and inclusive so there are no hidden costs, what you see is what you get.

I absolutely love capturing weddings, there really is nothing like being able to capture someone's special day. I also adore family photography and anything that's taken on the beach or in a natural environment is my jam.

I am an awarded photographer with a wide range of skills across a number of industries. I'm as comfortable capturing epic love on a gorgeous wedding day as I am wearing PPE on a mine site capturing huge projects. This exposure to lots of different environments, scenes and people allows me to be confident in many situations and can quickly work on the day to capture everything in it's best light with a calm, friendly approach. I gently guide my clients so they are captured in a flattering way in a way that feels natural, rather than staged or posed.   I am constantly studying and improving my craft and have undertaken courses, workshops and training in landscape, portrait, weddings, commercial and product photography.
