Frequently asked questions
Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?
"We called upon Leemac Plumbing to organise a full plumbing system for our new Hair Salon in Mooloolaba. Work was designed and completed by Leigh and was done perfectly to specifications within a very tight time frame. His work far exceeded my expectations and at a very reasonable price. I would recommend Leemac Plumbing to all, to ensure your business or home plumbing requirements are done exactly as you would expect. Good tradesmen are hard to find and Leemac are just the right people to get you over the line." Rod – My Dolly Hair Studio
What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?
What to look for in a tradie: - While cost-saving is of key importance, people needed to remember that the cheapest quote won’t always be the best bet. There is a reason some tradesman are not as cheap as others and this generally shows up in customer service, the quality of material used and the finished product – so beware of work on the cheap, you might just get what you paid for! On the other hand, there can be huge differences between the values quoted by various trades, so it is always worth getting more than one quote. Then you need to weigh up cost with the level of service you think the tradie will provide, and get a balance between the two. - Make sure your tradie is registered: Make sure any tradesman that you get in is fully registered with their governing body. With plumbers for example, they must have a current BSA licence as well as a relevant licence from the Plumbing Industry Council. If a tradesman doesn’t have these licences, you are taking a huge risk by contracting them to do any work, as they may not be qualified. This will also void any manufacturer warranties you may think you have. - Work closely with your tradies: Good communication is the key working with tradies. Make sure you know exactly what you want to achieve with your project and fully communicate this to your tradies. Take the time to fully understand each quote and make sure that the quotes include everything that you want. Don’t be scared to ask questions because remember – no one likes surprises!
