Yes I am an insured business, and always guarantee quality of work and completion dates (pending weather) with all jobs that I take on.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I have enjoyed building throughout my life, and this line of work gave me the opportunity to pass that passion on into my career, I relish the ideal of hard, honest work and have had that instilled in me since before i can remember, and is know huge part of how I live my life and run my business.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

A backyard remodel was supposed to be completed in 6 working days, however, rain postponed the completion date mid-job by 8 days. The customer asked if we could complete it prior to a party they had organised previously (48 hours). We put in big hours and completed it just as the people arrived. LCP

What do you like most about your job?

I enjoy the customer satisfaction that I am able to see when a job has been completed exactly to their liking, it is always a great thing leaving a job knowing that the customer could not be happier with the work that I have completed.

Ask to see pictures previous work they have done, and if they specialise in specific type of work that you need done, it is a lot easier to understand what customer would like if the provider is able to provide examples of some previous work they've completed.

Q:How have you got started in your own business so young? A:I knew what I wanted to do when i left school(16), and have been in the construction industry since that time (landscaping, concreting, minor roofing), and as time progressed I have gained all the knowledge and training to go out on my own.

As a reasonably new small business, I rely on word of mouth as a very big part of my advertisement, as word of mouth goes on my reputation and quality of work, I must be trustworthy and reliable for this business to expand and succeed.

As i am a relatively new small business, my overheads are not as large as what some others may be (vehicles, insurances, wages etc) which means that I am able to pass these savings directly to the customer, offering them a better price without ever affecting the quality of work.

What they want/require done and the time frame in which they would like it it be completed. And also they size of the area if concrete is required.

The best tips i could give would be: -Have the area tidy.(Less time cleaning, more time constructing) -Ask about material cost -Complete jobs in less than 1 week

Depending on what is required I am usually willing to negotiate a fair price between the customer and I so that everyone is happy. Concrete is usually charged at a square metre rate.

I specialise in, but am not limited to, decorative concreting (coloured, stenciled, stamped, driveways) aswell as retaining walls and garden makeovers.
