Kirks's Property Mantenance is a fully insured family owned business.  We provide customers with a guarantee on all workmanship and services performed by Kirk's staff, covering the labour component on any job. This guarantee is valid for 3 months after the job completion date (as specified on your Kirk's Property Maintenance Tax Invoice). What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

Please provide   -  a clear indication of the scope of works  - correct contact details including full name and phone numbers  - project site address  - project working timeframes - when can we access and undertake work on site? (ie. standing week days, weekends only or nights).

Lowest Price Guaranteed  We believe that we offer you the best price in town. So, if you have been quoted a better price for the same job by one of our competitors, we want to know! Simply present your written quote to a Kirk's representative before any work is undertaken and we’ll beat the price by 5%.    *Please note that all quotes must be valid and for identical job specifics. A Kirk's representative will need to verify each quote before the discount is applicable

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

The project charge will depend greatly on the type of work required. Generaly for small odd-job type work, an hourly fee is charged at $60 per hour for 1 person or $110 per hour if two people are required (for example if heavy lifting is involved). Otherwise, for larger projects such as tiling or kitchen/bathroom renovations the project will be quoted as a "fixed fee".  We can provide labour only or include the sourcing and supply of materials, finishes and fittings as well.  It all depends on how you would like the project to run.

At Kirk's PM, we provide a comprehensive range of services, across many fields however we have a particular passion for tiling and interior renovation of bathrooms and kitchens and an interior designer on hand to offer assistance if required and help you out with any decision making that you may need.
