Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

I have USAA insurance for transporting items I have to deliver, so they are protected from theft. I will guarantee my work of course, but that does not include any out of pocket expenses nor faulty appliances. But I will only use guaranteed suppliers who have their own insurance in place.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

After years of working in theatre and film and in fashion I have always loved interior designand have been facinated by the diversity a family or individual or company can have in their choice of style. I want to be a part of helping others shine as I did when I worked with celebrities in wardrobe.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

Well one time when I was directing a play by another writer, at the arts center for a festival, the other directors heard about my idea to use only maroon as the main color for my play and then about five other directors took the same route. I was flattered and it won me a role of a judge.

I have always loved the shopping of new and old homewares and arranging rooms. It is exciting to make a place look new and inviting.

I think knowing where your produces come from is important and if the service professionals have hidden costs, like delivery of goods or a no refund policy.

Where can we meet? Well that is simple. I come to the place you wish to redocorate or hold your event. And if youare in need of a venue then I would still like a one on one meeting to get an idea of what you are after then I can present a few options to you that I think would suit your budget.

I have always been reliable and trustworthy in everything I do. I have worked for Georg Jensen, Estee Lauder, Thomaiy, Georges Department Store, Marshalls, and Diamaru. . I have also works with celebrities, dressing them forfilms and events and purchased props for dozens of Producers.

With over twenty years of producing events and theatre plus decorating film and theatre sets in the USA and Australia, KG Shine Design can offer you a wide range of fabulous styles that are both comfortable and inviting for your home or office decorating needs. I may be new at this but I have years of experience as an Artistic Director and retail behind me. I look forward to be a fresh face on the circuit.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

How many rooms will be requiring to be redecorated? Will you need me to hire painters and builders? What is your time frame for getting the job completed by? Will we be reupholstering anything?

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

I suggest that you have an idea of what theme yu are after if I am to help you with an event. For Interior Designing, please remove any unwanted old items you know you do not want to keep and have an idea of what rooms you think you want to redecorate and if you plan to remodel the room as well. And thirdly I suggest you think a bit about what items you wish to keep or find first to showcase in your future upgrade.

Are there any special offers you would like to offer to Oneflare customers?

If you are a senior citizen or a disabled individual I would like to offer a 10% discount on any quote you have been offered and 10% off for anyone else who writes me a nice review at the conclusion of our contract. That would be 20% off for the senior who writes a positive review.

What makes your pricing competitive?

I do not descriminate nor do I over charge to my more wealthy clients. I work with the client to help them get the most for thier money. I believe in saving as a customer myself so I want to offer the best price to my client so that I get the enjoyment of decorating something special for someone.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

A deposit is helpful to get things rolling and a percentage of the budget to cover expenses, is all I require upfront. The balance is due on all private purchases and orders and payment in full is due before the day of any event. Clean up fee can be discussed. Then deposits for other contractors or funds for purchasing items once the client and I work out what is needed.

I specialize in the entertainment industry and special events. With interior, antiques and vintage finds are my specialty. Learning my client and his or her taste comes first, then finding that signature piece or gorgeous linen that represents all that you are and more. Color pairing and classiness are key elements to a stunning event or home or office.

With years of retail, theatre, and film work as a stylist behind me, plus a degree in theater and a certificate in Interior Design and Home Decorating, l know I can give you a personalized and unique look unsurpassed by anything you will find anywhere else.
