  Awful Service, Scam I am embarrassed to say that we paid $270 for a dirty oven and a half-cleaned apartment. I ended up spending the rest of the day and the next three nights recleaning the house for our inspection. Fortunately, we didn’t get it done the day before the inspection. We tried JML Services for a clean before a rental inspection, and it was a horrible experience. JML has a list of what is included on their website, but rather than list what was done, it would be easier to list what wasn’t done after six hours of work. When we contacted them about this, we were blamed for “not giving the cleaner more instructions” (we did give extra advice for our specific 2-bedroom apartment and we just wanted what was listed that we paid for to be done—according to Josh at JML, that is too much to expect). We were also told that we had booked the service at a bad time, so they were “not equipped to do the cleaning” (we took the first time they offered to us). We added an oven clean as an extra $50 to the Deep Clean Service, which was not done. When we complained that the oven was not cleaned, we were told “ovens are difficult to clean” and later that “the cleaner didn’t have the chemicals to clean the oven.” When we asked to have at least the oven clean fee removed, Josh said “the cleaner had spent a long time” so we “would have to pay for the entire package.” After I said that I didn’t want to pay $290 due to the need for us to buy products and clean the oven and the rest of the apartment ourselves, Josh said he would not take the $50 off but offered $270 to get this over with and behind him. Don’t use their service. Find someone you can trust who will treat clients and their cleaners well.
