Yes, I hold a professional indemnity insurance. Whilst I can guarantee that I provide the best treatment for every person within my scope and abilities, I do not claim to be able to treat every and all conditions.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I chose acupuncture as my career after trying it when I was 16 years old for a badly sprained ankle. Since obtaining my degree in 2010, I haven't looked back and love my job in treating and helping patients

1. A business owner with severe frozen shoulder. Was told by surgeons that she would need surgery. After 8 weekly acupuncture treatments, she had full mobility in her arm 2. I helped a 42 year old female patient fall pregnant naturally after 12 weeks of acupuncture

What do you like most about your job?

I love helping patients achieve their goals, whether they want to give birth to a beautiful baby, or they want to feel more calm and in control of their stress levels, or they just want to get rid of that nasty pain they've had in their back for a really long time. I also love educating my patients

Customers should ask where and when the acupuncturist obtained their degree/qualification; and how often do they treat a specific condition that the customer is inquiring about.

Accepted Answer

Does Japanese acupuncture hurt? No How many treatments are required to treat the condition? Typically, acute conditions which have occurred for 6 months require a minimum of 4 weekly treatments. Chronic conditions that have occurred for more than a year require a minimum of 6-8 weekly treatments.

I provide honest and factual feedback to all of my patients. This includes whether my acupuncture treatments are the most appropriate treatment method for them. I also conduct reviews with all of my patients on the 4-6th treatment to ensure that all goals are being managed well.

My needling technique as a Japanese acupuncturist is very gentle and painless. In every initial consultation, I provide honest and detailed feedback regarding the frequency of treatments required, and lifestyle and dietary advice. In addition, I respond back to all patient inquiries on the same day.

The initial consultation includes a comprehensive diagnostic process, 30-40 minute acupuncture treatment, and lifestyle and dietary advice. I also provide a personalised email follow up which summarises the topics and advice addressed in the initial consultation.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Initial consultation and treatment is $140 for 1.5 hours Follow up consultation and treatments are $100 for 1 hour Short follow up consultation and treatments are $70 for 45 minutes

My treatments focus on fertility (this includes falling pregnant naturally, preconception care, treatments to reduce risk of miscarriages, labour induction, and breast feeding problems), musculoskeletal problems (back pain, sports injuries), and stress related health issues.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

My qualification includes a Bachelors of Health Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the University of Technology, Sydney. I underwent mentorship and training for fertility acupuncture at the Rozelle Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Centre. I have been in practice since 2010 (7 years).
