The movers who came had no idea what type of job they were getting into; they had barely been informed of how much furniture we had which we had mentioned in the job description. Immediately one of the guys said they were just trying to get home early on a Saturday night, and that attitude showed in the rest of their work. They were very slow between items, talking on the phone casually, and after clearing out the bulky furniture they told me they wouldn't be able to fit any of the actual boxes because everything would be unstable. (I should also mention they barely had the tools they needed for a smoother move, like being able to secure some boxes.) It took them 2 1/2 hours to pack just the bulky furniture and most of our fees came from that and the drive to our new place. After being charged roughly ~$930 for a single load of furniture, nevermind anything else, we were pretty annoyed. We knew our stairs and bulky furniture would be a pain to move so we were willing to bite the bullet but we've realized a lot of our furniture was not handled with care. Our washing machine was broken, and even if it's likely repairable it's a whole other annoying thing to deal with for another bit of money that could've been avoided. Lots of our furniture has scraps and dings from being roughly slid across the truck floor and ground. And finally, during the unload I felt inclined to help considering how long the were taking. All in all, compared to previous moving experiences this has been our worst moving experience. And after looking at some of the other reviews, we've settled on two stars because at least they didn't disappear for 2 hours or anything like that.John

They damaged my freezer and used a date stamp app to make the photo of the damage was done before they moved it. If you use them take many photos of everything with them in the photo because a date and time can always be changed. Very disappointed 😡😡😡Megan R

They arrived at 9am when scheduled for 8am. Their truck was too small for both the items in my unit and those in storage despite me itemising the goods. They loaded up the truck with the goods from my unit and then the truck was full. Then one of the two workers told me he had to go to another job. The other worker told me the company was sending someone else and they were on their way. I proceeded to the new address and then waited 4 and a half hours for them to come. The excuses ranged from heavy traffic to a flat tire to waiting for NRMA. Calls to office were redirected to driver. At one point he was in Darlinghurst. Clearly they went off to another job. They had my furniture so I was held hostage waiting. They came to unit at 4pm and unloaded. They announced that they were 'Out of here' at 6:15 but I was putting bed together and queen mattress was not on bed. Told them they had to wait to move the mattress. The main removalist was rude and arrogant. Others were nice. Had to then have the remainder of my goods moved from storage on the following day at 7:30am . During this they tore a hole in the back of my leather lounge and scraped a bedroom chest of drawers. The whole episode was very negative. It is a shocking way to treat a customer. Do not hire them!! Brenda, I agree, this falls well beneath our usual high standard of removals. That crew has been stood down permanently. We never received an itemised list, only via one flare, which did not represent the actual list you had , we also asked you to provide us pictures of the damage, so we could do the right thing. First the removers were over an hour late with no communication. Then they took twice as long as quoted, despite me making it as easy as possible, then they damaged a number of items and ended the day forcing me to pay them otherwise they wouldn't let me close my front door.
