Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

There are some common misconceptions that could be better explained, so here are our favourites. 1/ New homes don't require inspections because they are still under the Builders warrantee. The Builders warrantee is only triggered when the builder is insolvent, unable to be found or deceased. Inspections are a must if you want to ensure the Builder rectifies the defect. 2/ Apartments don't require inspections because Strata Management cover everything. The strata manage the maintenance of the common areas of the building for the lot owners and in-turn charge the lots a strata fee. To keep the strata fees not all items are maintained or repaired. Also the strata do not maintain or repair any of the apartment on the lot title.  3/ Make sure the inspector uses a thermal camera to detect termites. Thermal imaging inspectors often over-state the uses of thermal imaging giving the impression the cameras can see inside walls, under floors and into ceilings. Thermal imaging measures the thermal trace on the surface of the wall. It’s the structural timber damage caused by termites that we are looking for and this damage has no thermal trace.

We can contact the agent and arrange a convenient time with them to inspect the property and have the report to you on the same day. We have a 2 hour inspection to report turnaround.

It is generally a once off fee that provides the total service from booking the appoint with agents, inspecting the property, client briefings and providing a detailed written report of findings within 2 hours on completing the inspection.
