Our Principal Interior Designer Our principal designer and director of Hunter Interior Design Brooke Farrell (BA of Interior Design & ISCD I-Style Colour) is skilled in all aspects of interior design from the initial concept, project management to project handover. As well as being extremely passionate about design Brooke also enjoys passing on her expertise in interior design to the residents of Newcastle and the Hunter Valley region by lecturing Interior Decoration at the Hunter Valley Community College. The Process Interior & Exterior Design Services The initial consultation will involve an on-site inspection or viewing of the plans to determine a design brief and to explore the project’s possibilities. A second on-site consultation will involve a detailed presentation and explanation of selected products which will be supported by relevant documentation, concept boards, sketches and/or computer aided designs. Following feedback from the client we will supply a final detailed set of selections that then can be passed on to contractors or architects for production. Colour Consulting and Interior Decorating This will involve an on-site inspection (interior & exterior) to view and observe not only the selected building but also the surrounding. We will then put together a complimentary colour palette and a selections report with the colour samples selected which can then be given to the painter or contractors. Property Staging and Styling This bespoke package is designed for Real Estate Agents, Developers, Investors, Display Homes and for anyone wanting to optimize a sale of a home. It will support the clients with interior and exterior colour selections, lighting, furnishings and decorative pieces. Furniture, Finishes and Fixture Selections The initial consultation will involve an on-site inspection where the principal designer will consult with the client and come up with a design brief suitable for the projects needs. The designer will then put together a styling report comprising of furniture and fixture selections. The finishes will cover everything from flooring solutions, paint finishes and colours, wallpapers and coverings and soft furnishings. All will be selected and given to the client in a Finishes report.
