  Holden Barlow provides prompt clear realistic specialized family law advice. As well as being professional they understand the emotions and stress involved in separating. Although they are not the cheapest, they guide clients to a prompt settlement. Unfortunately sometimes this needs time and work to be spent up front. I would recommend the fixed fee $550 no obligation initial consultation - it: - provides an overview of the different areas of family law; - how it applies to your situation; - preliminary advice as to the likely outcome; and - an estimate of the costs for the various options; all confirmed in writing, and and for the fixed fee of $550 (with no obligation to proceed after the initial consultation). Having to deal with the stress and expense of lawyers is never nice, but you are better off being fully informed up front, and hopefully reaching a compromise / agreement as quickly as you can - then you can move on!
