  While HM tree services appeared experienced, I was ultimately disappointed with the overall work and experience. Here are my specific concerns: 1. I was charged $200 more than the quoted amount. The original quote was $700 and was provided onsite. 2. When I requested further trimming of a tree, I was told it couldn’t be done due to limited space in the van 3. The chopped wood was left on the nature strip for another party to pick up, which I was only informed about after. The wood wasn’t picked up so we had to dispose of it in our green bin. For anyone considering business with HM tree services: - insist on a detailed quote in writing - do not pay the full amount until the work is satisfactorily completed - compare quotes from multiple providers (the final amount charged was not as competitive as originally quoted)
