How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I have always had dogs in my life and realised whilst watching a very clever owner and dog in the park one day doing tricks and obedience work that thats what i want to be able to do. So 10 years ago I went and became a qualified instructor. Love what you do and its never work.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

I recently helped a lovely young family with their pup Marley, the joy on the young boys face when Marley did exactly what he asked for was priceless. The parents were so proud of their son and the dog working together.

My absolute passion and love for dogs of all breeds and the satisfaction on clients faces when the two of them have that light bulb moment of Yes we understand each other

How do i get my dog to stop jumping on people?  Well lets start with some lead work and teach your dog that a reward will come when four paws are on the ground.

We cater for all personal circumstances. We have loads of flexibility from Train and Stay Packages to one off day care training, to holiday minding

I have trained at the Gold Coast Obedience for the past 13 years as well as volunteering at numerous schools and shelters. I have been a qualified instructor for 12 years and also the preferred trainer for A.W.A.R.E Qld Companion Dogs. Here at Happy Puppies we use positive reinforcement training
