I love photography and when I discovered wedding photography, I instantly fell in love with it because it is so incredibly challenging and I get to be a part of someone's most important day and its a great responsibility.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

I recently had an Italian couple who wanted to get married in Sydney. They sent me an email and asked me  if I could photograph their wedding. Since they were coming to Sydney alone, me and my wife also became their witnesses.  I had never met them, I did not ask for a deposit and we really enjoyed taking their photos  and we  became good friend.  The best thing about the wedding was the tears in their eyes when they saw the finished wedding album.

What do you like most about your job?

Being asked to photograph someone's most important day is a great honour and I love taking good photographs.  The best thing about my job is that I love wedding photography and I get paid to do it!

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

Its important to know exactly what you want and be realistic about your budget.  Its also important to know that expensive doesn't mean good quality and affordable does not mean bad work. There are great quality services providers our there who don't charge an arm and a leg for their services.   But its important to get a photographer whose working style and style of photography you like.

What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?

I get asked, how come so cheap?  My answer is - Our prices are not cheap and it definitely is not expensive. I just our prices are great and everyone who is looking for great wedding photography can afford our services.  Everybody deserves great wedding photos and I want to make to make it accessible to everyone. I don't want new couple to postpone their honeymoon or new home just because they wanted some good wedding photos.

What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?

You have to meet a person to know and tell if they are trustworthy or not.   I would like to personally invite my clients to my home or meet them at their fav cafe or home and let them decide if I am worth having them as their wedding photographer.

We provide exceptional wedding photography at amazing prices. We work unobtrusively, we are flexible and respect your wishes and don't push people around.   Remember those pushy and rude wedding photographers who ruin the day for everyone?  We are not one of those :) We guarantee a great wedding photography experience along with great photos that will make you smile everytime you open that wedding album.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

The minimum requirement is date of the wedding so that we can lock in the day for you. We do not shoot 2 or 3 weddings in one day like other photography companies.   We would also love to know what kind of wedding you want to have. We could probably suggest something from our experience that might save you a lot of time, money and trouble.  After all, as photographers, we want you to be very happy and relaxed on your wedding day - that's a guaranteed way to ensure great photos!

Budget realistically, call a few vendors before making any decision and commitment. Look for hidden costs and loopholes.  Check if your wedding photographer will provide digital files or will they charge again for the photos on Discs?  Do you need to pay again to own your own photo taken at your own wedding by a photographer whom you already paid a lot of money?  The best way to save money on your wedding photography is to go with us. No hidden costs, no dodgy dealings. You don't pay a cent more with Halo Photos!

We charge our customers, only what I would have been happy to  pay for my wedding photographs.  Our rates are fair, accessible, we do not push expensive packages and there are no hidden costs!

How do you normally charge for your service?

For every booking, I need a small amount as a booking fee. The rest of the funds can be paid on the wedding day or within  a week of the wedding by cash, electronic transfer or by cheque.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

I specialize in wedding photography.   I like to shoot wedding where the couple are genuinely in love and want someone to capture their most important day.  I keep my photos real. I shoot a few must have "traditional wedding photos" and the rest of the day, I capture the day as a journalist recording small details that makes your big day.

I have been a photographer Since 1999 and a Sydney based wedding photographer since 2007 and have been blessed to be able to provide very friendly, affordable and high quality service to our clients.
