We definitely guarantee our work and can honestly say we have never had a problem, touch wood! Plenty of references and client phone numbers to prove this. Builders warranty insurance provided.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

My grandfather was a builder, there is a great photo of me as a little tot next to pops old sign written truck. I guess it was in my blood because it came naturally to me.

I had a request to convert a garage into a bedroom but after inspecting the property and discussions with the owners I ended up creating a large open plan lounge dining area with a new kitchen. The improvement to the house was money well spent.

Building something I'm proud of. It's very satisfying to finish a project even if it's just a deck or a structural wall removed to create an open plan feel. Happy customers!

I think you are lucky to good an honest builder who takes pride in his work because we have all heard the stories. Ask for references and talk to previous clients.

A lot of people only have a vague idea of what they want and how to achieve it. As an experienced builder I give them realistic and practical ideas that works for the property.

I am an experienced honest guy. The last thing I want is an unhappy client because life is easier without problems. I actually enjoy doing a good job and getting possitive feedback.

I would recommend a site visit and discussion about the project initially to determine what the client requires and suggestions from the builder as to the best way to achieve that.

Clients can save a lot of money if they 1. organise the drawings 2. obtain building permit 3. source their fixtures and fittings. Although I suggest they do this in consultation with the builder.

As a small business with years of experience and quality sub-contractors for specialist areas we are lean and keen and are overheads are not as high as bigger companies.

I prefer to provide a detailed quote for the scope of work because then everyone knows exactly what is agreed and I stick to that unless the client makes changes.

We are based in Hawthorn East and primarily do small extensions, home improvements, alterations and kitchen & bathroom renovations in Boroondara, Yarra & Stonnington.
