Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Accepted Answer

We do guarantee our work for 1 year from date of check out. For example, any dummy tile will be replaced at our cost. However we do not cover any accidental damages caused by the end user.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

Accepted Answer

Only by passion. We built our house ourselves and decided to hire a tiler. We fired him two days later and started doing it ourselves.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

We had a customer who wanted some colored tiles on his WC (see attached pictures on our profile). We asked him where exactly he wanted the colored ones and he responded "do it as you want". We were a bit scared to take that decision but the finished job was of the taste of the customer :)

Like all hands-on job, you have a physical output from your work + the extra smile from your customer contemplating your work ! :)

They should ask for references and question on the way the work will be done. This will give a clear idea of the type of professional you are facing.

"How long would it take ?" is a very common question. > We usually ensure a finish date and respect it.

You will be able to question us on the way of proceeding with your job. We will adapt ourselves and the work plan to your timing and in/out.

Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?

Accepted Answer

We will always arrive on time on the said day. We will always advise you of any variation on the day we arrive and inspect the job, floor condition etc. We will always leave the place clean, free of any rubbish or dust.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

We would need the minimum info below: - Type of surface (wall / floor and composition : concrete, paving etc.?) and condition - Square meters to be tiled - Type of tiles (size and if there is any specific design orientation sought by the customer)

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

1) If you want to remove your old tiles yourself, please do. They will come pretty easily except for the ones which have been concrete-sealed. 2)  Give us as much details as possible with your enquiry. 3) Make sure the floor plan is clean and workable when we arrive.

We are a family business and run side activities. This means we tile more because we like these jobs rather than for living.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

We always bring the job quotation back to a ratio "hours to complete the job" vs " complexity". Distance is not taken into account in our quote.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

We love tiling porcelain large tiles as they require perfection. We also work stone bench tops and wall tiling with stones.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

Accepted Answer

We have been tiling water-closets, shower, large areas with small and large tiles in France and Australia. We like the well done work.  We might not be the cheapest but as we say to our customers: do you really want to risk the beautiful tiles you just bought to be tiles by someone not qualified ?
