Text message specific instructions and you can't go wrong. Written is better than voice in business. Ask how many years they have experience. Ask about price. Here is a guide: $20-$34 per hour will give you a part time cowboy who is not interested in a long term relationship. They will give you a fast and rough job.  $35-$50 per hour; professional and high quality service, usually independents who care about their reputation.   Franchisees: Very random, some know what they are doing but many don't, but charge premium rates up to $70 per hour.  Reviews don't always tell the full picture so pricing is usually a better guide. Expect a mix of all types of reviews for a genuine picture of a business.   The biggest source of bad reviews is miscommunication between customer and business. What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

I need to physically inspect the job before I provide a final quote as jobs are often very different in person than just looking at a photo and it's not professional to quote photos as this can lead to inaccurate pricing so I do not offer quotes without first seeing job. On site quotes with written details agreed by client ensures satisfaction and a job well done.

Customers can save money before the work is started with the following tips: Text address, job details and contact details for fast response time and onsite quote.  HOW TO HAVE A HEALTHY LAWN: (Or how you save time and money with a regular lawn service)  Consistent heights allow for consistent nutrients within the grass, helping your lawn look the same throughout.  Leaving your lawn too long can block out the sun from reaching the undergrowth and can lead to die off from below.  Letting your lawn get too long actually ends up causing you to mow your lawn more often! When you do finally mow, you are having to take more off the leaf which will stress your lawn much more than necessary. Once the lawn gets quite long, you don’t want to be taking more than a third of the leaf off at a time without stressing the plant, so you have to mow off a third, wait a few days and then mow again to get it back to the optimal height. So, sticking to the one third rule is extremely important in maintaining a healthy lawn.  The mower may have difficulty cutting down the tall grass even with an increased blade height, so it will be a much more difficult task.  A lawn that isn’t mowed regularly to the recommended height is often less healthy than a manicured lawn.  A lawn full of weak grass is more susceptible to disease, pests and weeds.  By sticking to a regular mowing and lawn maintenance routine, your lawn will be healthier and be less likely to develop problems that will only cost you more time and money in the long run.
