How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I enjoy numbers and mathematics. Something that not everyone does. I enjoy assisting people and I have always had an interest in business - In particular small and medium businesses. I looked for a way that I could meld the two passions together - I started my own small business as a bookkeeper. Now I am part of a dynamic company of professional accountants and advisors.

My story is about a business owner who was just using a new piece of accounting software. I ring the owner who is absolutely distraught - The software has beaten her into submission and now she needs assistance. My response was that it can be fixed and together we set out to tame the software.

I enjoy dealing with people. Especially passionate business owners. Owning a small and medium business (We represent over 96% of all business and 33% of GDP) is hard work. We are here to try and ease the burden of compliance - We can organise BAS, PAGW, financial reporting, etc.
