I have current professional Indemnity and public liability insurances, copies of which can be provided on request. I also guarantee my work within the limitations of the inspection and report.

I wanted to bring some credibility and professionalism to the industry because of my 30 years of experience as an Architect.

A recent pre-listing inspection of a house owned for 20+ years, had been renovated and maintained to the highest standard. Obviously, there would be nothing wrong? My keen eye for detail noticed a small imperfection to the plasterboard inside which I found to be major rotting of the timber cladding.

Being able to eliminate your stress when you’re buying or selling a home or investment property, and give you peace of mind knowing that your property is structurally sound, well maintained and safe for you and your family.

Do you report on more than walls, floor, ceilings, roof (ie doors, windows, cupboards including their operation), Does the report include photos, How long is the report (mine are 30-40 pages)

Can a house fail an inspection? - A house can't fail an inspection, I simply report the facts. I do take the time to educate you about any problems so you have a good understanding of the issue before you make your decision to purchase.

The size of house (number of bedroom and the like), whether the house is 1 or 2 storeys, whether it has a concrete slab or timber framed floor and how big the property is.

1 - ensure your maintenance issues are up to date on your home to make the inspection quicker; 2 - be open and honest in discussion so I can give you the most competitive price; 3 - be able to  provide access to all areas to ensure the inspection is thorough.

What makes your pricing competitive?

My pricing is competition because it is similar to the going market rate BUT you get a report that is very comprehensive, written in plain English, we don’t use industry jargon and our reports include not only the defects but all the items that are ok.

How do you normally charge for your service?

We provide a tax invoice on agreement for the job. This is generally payable before the report is issued. Generally payment is via EFT, cheque or cash.
