How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I cleaned my first carpet with my father at the age of fifteen. He owned and operated Ceduna Carpet Cleaning for over thirty years. Seven years ago I joined my wife's cleaning business and we decided to put this wealth of experience to good use by adding professional carpet & upholstery cleaning to our range of services.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

We had a property that had been poorly tenanted.  The home owner called us feeling very distressed as she thought her property was beyond salvation. The had been badly soiled by animals and general waste. The cleanliness of the property had been left worse then we had ever seen in our experience.   But after a couple of days of hard work the entire house looked awesome.  Our client was speechless. She stood in the door way with tears in her eyes and said " your freaked kidding me, how on earth did you do that." This is why we love our job.

What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?

Q- How much? A- We don't use a set price for a number of rooms as this seems unfair with people with small rooms. Instead we charge by the square meter.  Q- What process do we use . A- Basically it's high pressure steam extraction with a professional commercial SteamVac machine. Solvent based pre spray chemicals are extracted by 500 p.s.i hot water jets followed by two powerful wet vacuums leaving your carpets clean and only slightly damp.  .

We need to know exactly what our customer requires us to do so we can quote an exact price at the time of viewing a property.  We also need to know of any special requirements St the time of quoting.

Underneath heavy permantly placed furniture items rarely requires cleaning. EG: Wardrobe,  beds, lounges.  Ask us to steam clean walkways will save you money. Take off your own fly screens if window cleaning is required.

For carpet cleaning we charge by the square meter which we find fairer because room sizes vary. For window cleaning we charge a set price for a one story and a set price for a two story. For cleaning we charge by the job required.

We specialize in Carpet steam cleaning,  including deodorizing and fabric protection and upholstery cleaning. Most stains and substances are easily removed.  We also specialize in Exit cleans and holiday rental cleans.
