At Enterprise Removals we offer FREE Public Liability up to 5 Million dollars and FREE Transit insurance covered up to $200,000. Public Liability will cover any property damage caused by our Trucks during the move. Transit insurance will cover the entire load if the truck is involved in a collision, rollover, fire and theft.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

My father was in the industry for over 30 years and I was shown the ropes at a very early age. Having hands on experience from my father has really moulded me into a great removalist. I am highly trained in all aspects of this trade.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

Well as you may know every removalist has a story but there was one move that I completed which still shocks me to this day. We completed a move for this client who was not very well off and all the furniture he had was all falling to pieces and he had rips and holes through every piece. We completed the move in a short time and in the end he was surprised with how cheap the move was. When it came to taking payment I didn't feel right and felt very sorry for him. I told him that we would do the move for free for him and he turned around and paid for his move and slapped us a $400 tip. He said to me that he appreciates the help and that he was expecting to pay a lot more for his move and said he would be very offended if I didn't take his money. To this day I still do not feel right about the whole move. This gentleman was a pure example of great human kindness and he has touched me in many ways due to his actions. Whenever there is someone in need I try to help where I can.

What do you like most about your job?

I really enjoy my job as I am a very active person who enjoys sports and going to the gym. This job is physically and mentally demanding but I enjoy a physical challenge. I also like meeting new faces and being outdoors.

The most important questions to ask a removalist before selecting is:  1. "what size trucks do they have"?  2. "how many cubic meters is it"?   3. "is the truck efficient to do the move in one load"? if so this will keep your costs down. 4. " how many men do I require to get the move done in one day"? 5. "do you have Public liability and Transit insurance covered"? 6. "how many years experience do you have in the industry"? 7. check reviews and testimonials!! make sure the company is reputable and consistent with their services.

Customers always ask me how long will the move take? My answer is given once an inspection is completed. Our estimate is very accurate based on our average time frames for different size homes.

Being in the industry for 15 years I understand exactly what our customers expect from me and that is to be super careful with their furniture as well as delivering a time efficient move. I would say that I am a perfectionist when it comes to handling of furniture. Our small team at Enterprise are always punctual, friendly, respectful, hard working with a can do attitude. Our Trucks are modern and kept up to date with all servicing and maintenance.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

A visual inspection is always more accurate than completing an online quoting system. The most accurate way of determining an estimate is to arrange a in home inspection with our friendly removalist. Our removalist will determine what size truck you require to suit your home and will also advise you on the most efficient way to tackle your move. To provide a quote we need to know how many cubic meters of furniture you have, what size truck you require, single or double storey your moving from and to, extra services you require such as packing, good or bad access at both properties, travel allowance required etc;

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Handy Tips to Keep Moving Costs down: 1. Be organized and have everything packed into boxes ready for the uplift. Move all boxes to the closest point to the truck eg. garage or front living area. 2. Disassemble any furniture required such as bed frames 3. Keep access path clear such as the hallway. 4. Disconnect all wifi equipment and white goods such as washing machine. Empty the fridge or freezer.

We are very affordable compared to other companies in the industry due to our low overheads and we are great value with a high quality service. Our aim is to do the move in one load to keep your costs down.

We offer a free in home inspection from our friendly removalist to determine an accurate estimate based on your size home and truck size required etc. We then offer our hourly rate or fixed quote.

We specialise in uplifting and delivering household furniture for larger homes in one day. We have large modern trucks to suit 5+ bedrooms in one load. This is mostly important when you are dealing with settlement. We also specialise in Uplifting Piano's and Billiard Tables.

My experience and skills comes hands on from working with my Father who was a removalist for 30 years. We have done countless moves and I have been trained in every aspect of this industry from inspections, packing and unpacking contents of a household, packing furniture into a truck or storage, lifting correctly, manoeuvring furniture in and out of a house, trolleying correctly, uplifting special items like piano's and billiard tables, etc
