During my Ten years in the industry, I have worked across residential and comercial electrical systems and have an advanced working knowledge of all technical components. My experience has included fault finding, panel wiring, construction and installation, management of other electricians and subcontractors, materials ordering and receiving, reading and interpretation of specifications and drawings, OHS and QA documentation, and liaison with builders, foremen, project managers and others within the building industry.  I possess a Certificate II in Electrotechnology, an A-Class Electrical License,A Green Energy Council accrediatation to install solar systems, OHS cards,a Current Victorian Drivers license and we are completely Insured and Licensed.  Over the years, I have gained not only technical expertise but also solid experience in project management, including bookkeeping, equipment maintenance and human resources. I also have advanced knowledge of industry standards and regulations. 1/You can save money when hiring an electrician by making a few comparisons including hourly rate and distance to your home.   2/Try to group together all of the electrical projects in your home and have the Electrician look after them during the same visit.Most Electrician will factor in travel in their hourly rate so walking around your home and writing a list of any odd electrical jobs you need looked at or completed, will mean that the Electrician can do them all when they arrive. Getting them out to do more work at a later date may cost more, so bundle all of you electrical jobs together.   3 Pay for Quality and Opt for the electrician with the right qualifications instead of just hiring the cheapest and paying more to have mistakes fixed.

What makes your pricing competitive?

We have conducted our own market research and have confirmed that our pricing is not the highest nor is it the lowest.   There is a great article on the NECA website that describes how alot of tradesmaen are under quoting themselves to undercut there competitiors and win jobs.  The problem with this is that it can push your sole traders out of work and business. The NECA website provides the recommended average charge per state and we can confirm that we are well below the highest band that we could be charging. Dont alwyas go for the cheapest qoute. Alot of tradesman have full time jobs and do extra work on the side , so they can charge less. Unfortunately the sole traders within the industry who are building up there companies have overheads and staff and need the work to survive within the industry.

How do you normally charge for your service?

This depends on the type of job. Most jobs require a site inspection, after inspection complete a quote is provided. However where there is an Emergency call out or we are supplied clear details of a small electrical job over the phone, we can usually quote this at an hourly rate direct to the customer.

We specialise in and offer Solar Grid Connection Installation service and we are "Clean Energy Council Accredited" to install solar systems in your home or business. You will have peace of mind knowing that each solar installation is installed by an accredited A-Grade Electrician and inspected by a certified electrical inspector upon completion of the job.  Electricians on Call pride ourselves on service and quality of work. You will be supplied a certificate of Electrical safety upon completion of each job as a guarantee to you that the service provided complies with the Australian Electrical standards. We are also registered with Energy safe Victoria which gives you peace of mind that the work we carry out is of the highest standard and our electricians can provide identification and certification upon request.
