This is really for my clients to answer but it could be that I normally work with 100-200 business people per year and I have not had many complaints and unsatisfactory clients. There were some, but again we can't be everything to everybody...tastes and preferences vary and those good memories and success stories are what makes us love what we do.

1. Get your documents in order, meaning - scan what is relevant and file in an organised way 2. Think strategically long term, meaning - know what are your objectives and your vision 3. Select the best within your budget, meaning - best people, best advisers, best equipment, best strategies 4. Write it down and revisit your plans at least weekly  5. Have accountability partner or someone you can trust to help you get where you want to be faster 6. Don't be a Jack-Of-All-Trades...meaning, don't save where it doesn't matter 7. Focus on the vital few activities that bring you forward and have your priorities set all the time.

Value, transparency and client's best interests. to explain, it is in client's best interest to know our pricing structure upfront. If we can make more money by extending our projects for days and charging per minutes, we would not do it. Period. It is in client's best interest to pay pre communicated fee instead of being billed per hour/minute. Pricing per hour is unethical and against our beliefs and values. :)
