Tim Dean holds a B Architecture (Hon) degree and has an extensive career in the design of residential, retail and hospitality projects in Australia and overseas. Tim also owned and operated an award winning furniture and fit-out business for 12 years. Following return from living in Dubai in March 2020 due to Covid-19, Tim founded Distilled Design to focus on two key areas that combine his specific experience, expertise and passions: 1. Interior Design and Fit-out: Custom design solutions for residential, retail and hospitality projects. Beautiful, elegant designs that evolve out of practical solutions to each Client’s brief. Distilled Design has partnered with some highly skilled cabinetmaking businesses to offer design and construct services for interior joinery fit-outs. Clients have the option of Interior Design only, or complete package of Interior Design plus manufacture and delivery of kitchens, retail fit-outs, etc 2. Small Space Architecture: Distilled Design is a specialist in the design of innovative, sustainable tiny buildings. Tiny House On Wheels, Container Buildings, Bus and Vintage Caravan Conversions. Tiny Homes, Granny Flats, Food Vans and Airbnbs. Distilled Design has partnered with Bretts Pty Ltd, one of the largest fabricators of modular buildings and specialist suppliers like Zero Grid (off grid solar power systems) to offer a complete design and construct service.
