Infants and Children have their very own unique needs that can be addressed with Physiotherapy. Issues may range from orthopaedic in nature including torticollis, plagiocephay, and positional talipes to Neuromuscular problems including delayed gross motor skills or low postural tone. Cronulla Physio Focus treats children and adolescents with various developmental, sports and orthopaedic problems. These include young infants with trouble turning their heads, rolling, sitting, crawling or walking and young children with developmental delay and Developmental Co-ordinatation Illness. Kids today are spending more time in front of displays. We're seeing a rise in poor postural habits in kids and believe we must address these issues before they result in grossly underdeveloped postural muscles which will continue into adulthood.
