Fully insured for 20 million.  All our equipment is also comprehensively insured.  I have accident insurance also.  We have a very high rate of customer satisfaction.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

Honestly. I had three kids & the backside out of my pants, & started doing trees as a way to eat & provide for my family. Love of trees and further study came later.

Once a client had a large blood wood tree they wanted to remove because of blossom tainting their tank water. I told them the job would be worth several thousand dollars but a couple of self flushing rain bins on the down pipes & a water filter would cost less than half that. The tree is still there

I have always worked out doors. In the rain in the heat of summer. I love working with trees & timber. There is a certain comfort for a man doing something that he knows he is good at.

I think experience is the most important thing. There is no substitute for it & there's only one way to obtain it. As silly as it sounds, some one who will look into your eyes for more that a milli second gives you an idea about who your dealing with.

Straight talker no nonsense. Common sense approach. Old local style courtesy & honesty. I believe in giving people the same level of service that I expect when contractors or service folk work for me.

Longest established tree company on the Sunshine Coast run by the same owner. Close to 30 years. Family business. Our family is now in its sixth generation on the coast. We have lots of equipment such as trucks ,chippers,cherry picker, 2 stump grinders,5.8 ton excavator, bobcat, saw mill,tractor etc

We must view the site to ascertain where access will be found & how to go about the job. Estimation of the time frame is important because of scheduling of multiple jobs during a day.

1) don't cut down a pile of trees & think you are saving us time. It's quicker if we do it & mulch as we go.  2)clean up at the end of a job is an important part but you can save money if you do it your self.  3) keeping timber onsite after a removal job ie for firewood even for the neighbours.

Competitive prices are usually borne from a proper assessment of of the job at hand. Many years of experience allows you come up with different methods that save time. In the end time is money & if you can find a way to save time then you can be more competitive.

All tree related issues, particularly on the Sunshine Coast. In the last 30 years there isn't much in the way of tree consultancy or contractural work that we haven't been involved with.

Level 5 arborist & consulting arborist with 30 years experience.  Graduated from Burdiken Ag college with cert irrigated tropical agriculture.  Studied arboriculture in US and all around Australia. Common sense approach to tree issues borne from a life begun in farming here on the coast.
