Honestly, I was very young and bored. I had already quite a lot of experience in IT and programming but was beginning to realise my artistic side (I have an artistic family) and wanted to combine the two. So I taught myself how to design and develop websites. I then taught myself more about graphic design principles and became an apprentice and my career just grew from there.

While I have a lot of skills and experience in the industry, I am still young (in my 20s) so I can afford to make my prices lower than my competitors who have a lot of different overheads. My web development packages start at $99.

For web design and development projects I charge a calculated flat fee that includes everything that is laid out in the scope. For everything that lies outside of that scope or any marketing-related projects, I quote on an hourly basis.
