Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

YES! we are insured through QUEB for 10000.00. whilst actual cleaner works through us. if you engage a cleaner on a private level, (mostly Domestic cleans) then we cannot guarantee, that they are insured, as an ABN number, does not guarantee insurance. and YES! we absolutely guarantee our work, most specifcially in "Bond CLeans" whereby a client needs that bond back, In fact we specialise in "White Glove" standard bond guarantees. in 15 years of operating, we have never lost one yet!

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

Family Business, and Experience, so continuing on the generational knowledge, and literallly growing all the time. With a couple of more of the 4th generation coming along very soon!! It might be a little while before they are up to the task, though........

I really like the interaction with people, and especially when, someone, has been so stresssed out by re-locating, and they have booked us, and we have taken the burden off thier shoulders, as a "one stop shop" have done the clean the carpets,widnow furnishings pest control, and even picked up and taken back keys as a courtesy> the relief in their voices is palpable, and its real joy, to get  that thankyou at the end of the job, even from interstate or overseas.. Or reclaming a trashed house, when the owners, are in tears, and think its going to be impossible to ever remediate the house back to new. "priceless" expressions ALso the feeling of pride, with the finished product !

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

Depends on the specific clean. But always, ask wether cleaners are insured. having an ABN is no guarantee of that! Do they guarantee their work (more imortant in Bond returns" Are cleaners police checked, (vital in Domestics, and Commericial sites)  Are cleaners well trained, and versed in use of chemcials and applications.  Naturally price is always an issue, and methods of payment give an idea of how "professional" a company is. For example, some Businesses only accept cash. That should send alarm bells, as any legitimate business would accept cards.

Our Cleaners, are reliable, efficient, and skilled in highly detailed, work, and specific cleaners, with specific skills may be required for specific jobs. For example  Domestic Cleaners, are hand-picked, as they have to treat your home as they would there own, if not "better: Your home is your castle, and  we hand-pick our Domestic Cleaners, whom can operate to this maxim. These cleaners are also police-checked, and have good people, skills and show initiative.

We believe cleaning is an underestimated skilled proffession. "Cleaning aint just cleaning". There are many aspects to cleaning, and its very easy for an untrained unethical cleaner to actually do damage, to surfaces, wether they be paintwork, ceramic tiles, or many others. All cleaners, should  also be well informed and be regularly updated on  many aspects of chemical and equipment use, and at all times use Best Practices, rather than take short cuts, such as douse everyhting in chlorine in a "Bond Clean" situation, because it reduces labour. We at Mission Im-possible, consider all these aspects, and ensure our cleaners are well -versed in in the criteria we demand.In domestic or office situations we always ask if someone has an allerrgy or asthma, so we can take all due care to ensure we use hypoallergenic products. What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

What do you actually want? are you looking for a Domestic Clean/Spring clean/Bond Clean/Commercial/ Marine/ Medical Centre/Kindergarden.etc. Once we ascertain, what specific type of cleaning you want, we will ask you some questions. For exampl with Bond Cleaning, we will ask you Is the "site" a unit,/ townhouse/ 3,4,5 Bedroom Home, Low Set?Set, High Set? is it carpeted. What window furnishings do you have? Do you have external areas you need doing, balconies, garages etc. Approx how long you have lived in property. Which Real estate agent, are you through. this inormation enable us to give, a more accurate price, even over the phone, We also offer "package Deals" that include everything in a Bond Clean.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Ensure the Business you are employing has an ABN, but is also insured. if something goes wrong, on a clean, and things can happen, especially if cleaners, are untrained, and inexperienced, or just use products such as chlorine,,  to strip wall"s clean, fast, then it can cost a lot of money to fix walls or floorings, etc. Be cautious, with over the phone  Quotes, specially on "Bond CLeans" unless its a farily close approximate based on averages. IN a very competitive industry, some unsrupulous people will give a very low price over the phone, book the job, and then on the day, the price goes up! This practice happens, specially at busy times of the year, or with clients moving interstate or overseas. So, cheapest is definitly not best!  Ask for hourly rates, with all other cleaning. With a a Bond Clean, it is preferable also for the cleaning business to come and site the propety, because every situation is different. Having said that, experienced persons, can give a pretty close approximate, based on averages, and the information they are given. "Package Deals" are an excellent way to save some money,and have the convenience of "one stop shop"  It takes out all the  hassles, after all moving is stressful enough. Also usually outdoor areas require doing as we'll. Save money and do these yourself.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

Either hourly rates, for Domestic/Commercial/Spring Cleans. Hourly or a "set rate" quote, or approximate, for Bond Cleans, or Pre-sale cleans, etc, to pass on considerable saving to the clients. Specially with Bond Cleans, as such, we have average, amount of hours, an average property takes, in an average condition. But of course, this can vary, dramatically in some cases. For example the house may be bigger than average,  be in a worse state, be neglected, or just have certain surfaces that make the clean slower. In that instance, it is easy to see where a set quote, is more cost effective to the client. than an hourly rate.
