Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

All our work is guaranteed, and we are FULLY insured and covered for any mishap that could arise. $20 million public liability insurance. Full cover workers compensation and all vehicles and machinery have fully cover. Current insurance certificate can be emailed or view prior to work commencing.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I am a qualified motor mechanic by trade but did not enjoy being cooped up in a tin shed or workshop everyday, so id thought of the complete opposite to what I was doing and here we are now.

We volunteer to help local communities with tree work and planting donate and support programs we believe in help those that are not as fortunate as ourselves.

We are outside in different areas of Perth everyday. No job is ever the same. Meeting new people. Working in nature and helping Western Australia's beautiful flora and fauna.

Ask for certifications and current insurance certificate. Ask for references from a respected source. Years of experience. Police clearances. No work for cash as this lifts insurance for damages.

We get asked if we take all our cutting away and that is a defiant YES unless stated on written quote. ie; stake on verge, keep for firewood or leave mulch onsite

All staff are police cleared for a start. We also have many references and recommendations from residential clients to government and commercial. Also our staff have been the same tight net crew for over 3 years now.

Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?

Chillys located in Wanneroo, offer the same if not better service as the larger companies at cheaper cost, as we are a smaller based company with less staff that actually care about our reputable name and al our clients. Brad Tink owner/managing director is still hands on. So the same person to quote your job will actually carry out the work as with many others this is not the case. Also we have a qualified arborist on site at all times.

In our industry a site inspection is the best way to negotiate a price to keep both parties happy. We then know what relevant equipment and machinery is needed to carry out the job smoothly and in one visit.

By cooperating with the requests listed on our written quotations prior to start. Keeping your own mulch from your tree cutting or keeping your own fire wood will always save the customer money.

We can price cheaper as we generally run only 3-4 staff at this time. Our company has no other over heads

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

We offer a free no obligation written quote with no hidden terms and conditions. Honest, fair and competitive rates. Quotes are also valid for 3 months unless stated otherwise. We offer a Truck & Woodchipper with 2 men at $220.00 an hour. (we get a lot done in an hour). For a cutter/climber who is a qualified arborist we charge $88.00 per hour. For the larger jobs we offer a day rate with Truck & Woodchiper and qualified arborist 3-4 men for $2150.00 this includes 8 hour with travel to and from site.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

Chillys are professionals in all areas of tree care, however we love caring and maintaining the health and vigor of WA's larger trees rather than removing any of them. This is Brad's expertise as is the removal of large trees in backyards and tight areas. Narrow access stump grinding is another area we specialize in.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

Chillys have well experienced staff from qualified arborists, hazard identification and prevention certification, pest and disease controls, police clearance, western power certified contractors for low and high voltage power lines, EWP certification,  stump grinding and woodchipper ticketed, tree cabling and braceing. Brad Tink has over 11 years of experience in the industry with our youngest employee having 3 years experience. Zero other companies will not be able to offer this. We Care!
