Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

I am a fully insured business and I believe my photos speak for themselves! When shooting in my studio, you will see and choose your photos right after the shoot! If no retouching is needed and payment has been already done in full, you leave my studio with your photos in a USB drive!

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I always loved photography and working with people. This was a way to get away from the corporate world, do creative work and meet new amazing people.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

Not anyone in particular. I do love to see my customers using my images as their profile photos in social media, it's when I really know they loved my work! We don't use photos we don't like as profile pictures :)

What do you like most about your job?

I love to capture people's real emotions through their eyes. Also, creating amazing photos of someone and seeing how much they love said photos of themselves is an amazing feeling. We live now in a world based on imagery but truly amazing photographs are less and less.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

Always make sure you know what you are paying for. Most photography business operate in the print area. You pay for a photography session and that does not give you any images. If you decide to hire one of those services, make sure you ask how much those prints are going to cost.

What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?

- Do I have to pay for very expensive prints to get my photos? Absolutely not. You hire packages that include photos, that's it. The only extra is in case you decide they need retouching (Photoshop), and it's very affordable.

Amazing photography doesn't have to be expensive. We have amazing portrait packages for unbelievable prices. There are also no tiny words, you get what you pay for. No spending thousands of dollars in prints.  I specialise in getting real emotions from my clients so they look their best.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

What type of photography are you looking for? Would you like them to be in my studio, your home or outdoors? Are you looking at changing outfits? Do you need me to provide you with a makeup artist? How many images are you looking for?

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

- If you can do your own makeup or have someone to do it well for you, I don't have a problem with that! - The day before your shoot, drink lots of water and get a good night sleep. This helps to keep your skin smooth. - Don't worry about your shoot. It's supposed to be fun!

What makes your pricing competitive?

Although I do have prints if clients request, selling them is not how I do business. You pay for the session and that already include your images, no need to spend thousands of dollars to get your hands on the photos you love.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

I personalise quotes based on each clients needs. My basic packages start at $249 and include around 10 images in high resolution. Retouching and makeup are not included. Makeup starts at $100 and retouching at $30 per image. Most of my clients are happy with the images straight out of camera.

Real emotions in portrait and fashion work. You don't have to be a model to have an amazing image of yourself, and that's where I excel.

I have been shooting portraits and fashion for a few years now. I studied - and am still mentored by - with Peter Coulson, the best fashion photographer in Australia - and one of the in the world.
