  When we were planning our wedding the one thing we wanted was for the whole thing to be a good time. A bit of searching for the right celebrant led us to Josh. We quickly knew he was the right choice for us. Easy going and professional, listened to what we were after and was always available for a chat leading up to the ceremony.. Helping us navigate any questions (any nerves) we had along the way. Josh is a great person to have as a part of your wedding for a bunch of reasons, stress free, reliable, as one of the few vendors we didn't have to worry about. He even helped us and gave us pointers when writing our vows. On the day, Josh was timely, prepped and ready to go in no time, it was great to have his confident, relaxed presence during a day that can feel hectic! That confidence carries through to when he speaks, holding court and keeping the ceremony smooth and helped create the fun vibe we were after! My wife and I can't recommend him enough.

  If you want a cookie cutter ceremony with a drab celebrant who reads incorrectly out of a book, Josh Withers is not the man for you. If you want someone who is 100% genuine, don’t need no notes, gets to the core of your values and desires for your celebration, and will make you feel like a lifelong bud within 10 minutes of meeting them, then good news! Josh Withers is the guy for you! With Josh, everything was SO. EASY. He made us feel very relaxed at our informal meetings and is genuinely interested in getting to know you as people, not as clients. He cuts through the bull of tradition and really gets you to think about what is important to you as you make this public profession of love. Not only is he great at the pre-wedding game, but he totally nailed our ceremony. I had some minor anxieties about heading down the isle (oh hello mass of people), but the second I got out of the car, and could hear Josh warming up the crowd and the guests responding and loving it, I knew that everything was not just under control, but that people were actually having a great time before the wedding even started. Josh speaks from the heart, and keeps it real during the ceremony, and that’s what we loved about him. You know what else is baller about our main man Josh here? He can carry that vibe going through to the reception. We were lucky to have him MC our wedding as well, and it made the day not just seamless, but kept the good times rollin’ with a consistent vibe throughout the whole wedding day. If you’re a geek or self-professed tech-head, you will love Josh. He loves his gear and has some great, innovative tech to work in your favour to make the day and process even smoother.   YOU WANT THIS GUY!!!! His professionalism, passion are second to none. He did the worlds best job at our wedding! For a completely unique, fun, quirky and romantic ceremony focused on you and your partner you need Josh! Everything is completely customised to your day. He is very easy to talk to and run ideas past. He is just an awesome all round guy. I would say he is the best in Queensland if not the world. Thanks for your work under tough conditions.

  Josh had probably the hardest of weddings to perform at our wedding considering the conditions. He was an absolute legend. He gave us a touching and customised and personalised ceremony. His professionalism, drive and passion for being a celebrant is second to none.   My wife insures that I leave the house for every wedding and meeting because if I don't then I can guarantee I won't be in business for much longer and then we'll have to go on the dole.

• How did you decide to get into your line of work?

  Much like a Saudi Prince on adultery charges, I slipped and fell into it. That is, I thought that maybe I could make wedding ceremonies better. I thought that they could be a million times better, and that's my daily mission.
