How much will it cost to have design work completed? I charge $80 per hour in 15min blocks, each job is quoted separately as it depends on the work that's involved and every job is unique. How long will it take? Again, each job is different, normally a DL flyer would take 3 hours.

I always deliver when I say I will and within budget. I keep you informed throughout the job and make sure you are happy at the end. I keep in touch to make sure your still happy.

• I'm affordable – Great design shouldn't cost you your first born, I tell you up front what it will cost! • Fast and reliable – Why should you have to wait weeks to get great designs happening? • I'm local – I come to you on the Central Coast to discuss your creative needs.

What designs do have you done before? Do you have a logo? Do you have everything you need ready to send me? Samples etc. Do you have a budget? Do you require printing too?

* Firstly, give me as much information you can, what is the design to be used on, who are you targeting?  • Show examples of work you like, colours and fonts, layout etc, all this helps narrow it down. • Do you want it to look comical, serious or corporate maybe?

What makes your pricing competitive?

I like to be affordable as most of my clients are small businesses. So keeping my prices low, helps them get great designs that they can afford, and hopefully refer me to their colleagues, though I think some of them keep me a secret so I don't get stolen!

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

I charge my design services by the hour in 15min blocks. I can normally tell how long a job might take and quote on that. Things like high-resolution stock images are each image and printing depends on what you want.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

I'm more of a print designer, I love working with the print media, the different papers and card stocks. I've never been interested in web based design.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I'm been doing this gig for over 30 years, there's not much I don't know about the printing industry. (I'm not bragging!) I have 2 Diplomas in Graphic Design too plus life! I've worked for different design studios in Sydney and the UK before starting my own business in 2000.
