Birnie's PCs has been operating in the local area for past 2 years. Before that, i have been tinkering on personal PC projects and helping friends and families for many years before that.
After seeing a few friends get rediculous quotes and being ripped off, i decided to join the game with a more reliable service and better pricing structure.
I thrive on the unfixables!
Meaning the items that are unfamiliar to most PC people, like unusual add-ons that don't fall under the standard equipment banner.
For example, i've had a customer with an EFTPOS setup attatched to their PC with a cash drawer and thermal printer.
After 3 PC fix-it people had visited, all gave up with some charging their full rate!
I took the devices home and played with them until i got it working, took in the next day and had it going for them, for the 1st time ever! She was over the moon!
It had been unused for approx 2 yrs before that.

Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?
I guarantee my work for hardware replacements. I guarantee my software fixes to the point where if it's obvious i've missed somthing, i will fix it up for free. Although, PCs are a hands game and it's very easy for the customer to break something. It's a hazy area, just use your commen sense.....be nice, be honest and I'll do the same.
