  We have found Michelle to be a very professional minder and we are sure our 2 dogs loved the time they were in Michelle's care. We haven't finished our holiday yet but the feedback we have received from Michelle has given us a high level of comfort, as we can see our pets are getting pretty much the same care and love we would give them if we were there. We will certainly use Michelle again when we go on holidays where we are unable to take our dogs.

  If you want to have peace of mind during your holiday, you should definitely call Michelle to look after your pets. My cat is very timid and feels stressed when I leave him at the cattery. More to the point, I have a lot of plants and flowers that need watering. Michelle was just the right person to provide both services. She appeared to be a cat whisperer as it took no time for my cat to let Michelle cuddle him and take him out. She sent the pictures to my phone which showed how happy my cat was. Michelle has proved herself as the most professional and reliable minder who I would recommend to anyone. She is fun and a beautiful person. Vidute Ringwood East

  Bark Around the Block has been fabulous for us. Really engaged with our excitable young staffy cross and definitely helped in encouraging some more easy going manners. And he loved the walks and workouts.

  Bark Around the Block is awesome! I have peace of mind that when I leave my pooches with Michelle whilst I'm away that they are well cared for just like when they are at home. They get a doggy walk, and Michelle doesn't mind them chilling inside as they love to be around people.

• Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

  I do have full liability insurance as well as pet First Aid Certification and a recent Working with Children Check. I am happy to undergo a police check upon request.

• How did you decide to get into your line of work?

  A couple of years before I began my business I found that I was minding other peoples pets and walking the dogs of friends and really enjoyed what I was doing. I have always enjoyed training and walking my own dog so my own business in the pet industry was a natural step.
