  I was a dummy. I was duped. I was silly! Ahmad of Handy Expert Services was a persuasive and nice young guy who presented well. I accepted a quote for $350 to inspect and report on my roof (4.3metres high). Soon he told me I had water leaks and showed me water marks on the wood where it had apparently been leaking down towards the eaves. Then he told me the ridge caps needed to be siliconed and this would cost me a further $650, which i agreed to. He also said my metal roof would benefit from resealing and painting at a price of $6000! For about 115 sq metres. Anyway within 2 hours he was finished. I queried the price and he said it’s what I agreed to. I thought he was going to seal all the ridge caps even the sloping corner ones, not just the long one across the top which is only 6.5metres. He said the sloping corner ones didn’t require sealing. I had a bit of a discussion with him about the price and told him my lawyer didn’t charge that much per hour. Anyway I did pay him but just warn anyone and everyone to be careful and not as gullible as me.

  Hi The job was for double storey house and i call Tony for the job and he accepted my offer to I inspected the roof and found out what roof need . So i went to the address and I inspected the roof and the ridge caping doesn’t cover all the top and in bad condition as the water can go underneath the caping when it is raining and windy so we have two options Change the caping or I silicon and waterproofing the caping as it’s cheaper . And hi decide to do the silicone and waterproofing with the price i give it to him , so i start working and when i finish hi said the price to much and you to pricey….. Unfortunately if the price to much you can decide before i start I bring for these job long ladder and waterproofing and silicone and i work in high and risk . Any way the job has been done and he accepted my offer so not after I finish work u come to talk about the price Thanks any way
