A face to face chat on-site is usually enough to get an idea of cost or a 'ballpark' figure. If you're happy with that we go on to do a proper measure up and work out a more comprehensive quote. All free of charge with no obligations.

One way to minimise extra cost to the job is to have a clear and firm idea of exactly what work needs to be done, to as much detail as possible. Plans, drawings, appliances, landscaping, tile sizes, designs etc. This will allow work to flow smoothly as decisions have all been made. Other ideas are: Help if possible. With the builders consent, dig holes, clean up the site etc. and be sure to clear the area before work begins: Cut trees back, remove furniture/toys/beds, anything that will get in the way or may get damaged by the work being done.

What makes your pricing competitive?

We have a reasonable hourly rate and pass the material costs directly on to you. No mark-ups and no unnecessary costs.

How do you normally charge for your service?

We provide a free 'ballpark' quote initially, then if the client is keen, and we have a solid scope of work, we commence. Monday of every week worked we provide the client with an itemised account of materials and labour costs. This provides the client with an opportunity to manage costs vs. progress, and the flexibility to pay by the week.
