  This is the third time we have used A1 removalists and have referred them to many friends . Always prompt, friendly and efficient . We would highly recommend them and will certainly use them again.

  Cheap quote but ........ Booked a loose 9-11 start. Arrived at 10:15 (no big deal but ...) after calling twice. First at 9 to say on the way, second at 9:50 to say couldn't find address. 25 minutes of calls and finally arrived at 10:15. After a couple of hours of roughly handling my stuff they tell me no room for the lounge. Need a second trip. Considering the quote was for a 2 bedroom flat and there was only really 1 bed and I had discarded the dining chairs they sent a too small truck. Then with a cupboard and tall boy still left on the truck they insist on beinv paid for 5 hours work at 1:10. I could write more lines about the damage and general extortion. Damage I could do nothing about because they already had my cash of course. You have to laugh though because after the arguement about price and the call to the boss who told me the price quoted didn't include GST (is that even legal) what would have been, according to them a $440 inc. GST price, was reduced to a still overcharged price of $352 including GST (I'm sure thAt gets paid). And the funny thing is, I had already generously worked out 4hrs (it was 3 and a half tops) and was going to give these guys an extra $20 each on top of that because it was 35degrees. Of course I hadn't noticed the damage and grimy hand prints at that point but still ..... So don't use these guys would be my advice. The won't respect your stuff or the agreement and they will try to charge you for time before they start. And if you explain your not paying for them to find the address you will end up with 2 surly workers who have already been paid handling the last few pieces of your precious stuff. Yes that's the stuff the held to ransom before completing the job. You can do better than this mob. They just aren't up to it.

  I had a horrible experience with this removalists. The staff was very unprofessional and rude and deliberately took more time to get the work done. We caught them chilling near the truck and smoking on a couple of occasions. They also damaged the property while moving( both old and new) and the furniture. Very unpleasant experience.
