I recently bought an imported Japanese car from a seller. Hired Wayne for the pre-inspection. The experience was seamless both the seller and myself are very happy with the service provided. Highly professional, respectful and customer centric service. repliedJust Vehicle Inspections14 Oct 2024

I engaged Wayne /Just Vehicle Inspections in early Sep 2024 after being impressed by the Google reviews I had read and that he appeared to be reasonably close to the dealership we had placed a deposit down on a 2018 Volvo XC90. The next day we we received our vehicle report which included two areas of concern - a faulty 02 sensor and a missing, important, log book service entry (we saw the latter ourselves when viewing the car but didn't understand the full implications). Wayne debriefed us fully and had addressed all of our concerns and thoughts about the car. Most importantly he gave us the confidence to speak assertively to the dealer and particularly to realise that at this stage of the purchase process (post a small deposit and within the refund window), 95% of the power is with us. We managed to agree to a new 02 sensor fit, new support battery, 4 refurbished alloys, decent interior clean, new spare key (coded at our expense) and probably best of all, we spoke to the relevant garage (diff state) and obtained evidence (receipt) of the missing service being performed. Thanks again Wayne! Can highly recommend to anyone thinking of getting a third party expert inspection. Very likely to use you in the future. repliedJust Vehicle Inspections08 Oct 2024

I contacted Wayne on a Monday in order to get an inspection done asap and he was able to fit me in the very next day. He went through the vehicle in great detail and picked up a lot of items that were either roadworthy issues, or likely to become roadworthy issues down the track. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to get a pre-purchase inspection done. repliedJust Vehicle Inspections18 Sep 2024

Finally, I got my $395 inspection refund from mr. wayne, lucky and unlucky. i got a $395 quote with my ranger 3.2L 4wd on last friday. i paid it in second after phone call, since he told me he has lot of experience and do lot of this car. i trusted him. i have mentioned about engine very loud and rear diff lock may have potential problem, ask him keep a eye on it and double check on them. he send me a thumb up. but when he done the inspection, call me and said he can't find the diff on the car. i got shock, i sent a photo of the button panel, but he seem no idea which is. first, he told me it just ABS, when i point out the diff lock button is on right side of the ABS, then he said it is central diff lock, not rear diff lock, it will lock 4 wheel for off road, and he already check it no problem. as a car mechanic student who just finish cer3&4 training few years ago, I remember front and rear diff lock usually on part time 4wd, central diff lock is usually on full time 4wd or AWD, my car is part time 4wd model so it is impossible. but since he said so firmly as a 25 years experienced mechanic, i thought "maybe i am wrong", therefore i simply ask him send me a report, then he just send me a tick list as you can see in photo, no detail car photos and others. i double check when i got home, and 100% he is wrong about this diff lock(i mean even you look on the button icon, you will know it is rear diff lock). so i call him at next day, ask him how he test it during the inspection, he seem have no idea how this thing work and keep said he can't find any problem when he test it. so i just simply ask "if you don't know how this thing work in a mechanical way, how can you test it?" then he just insists he has a lot of experience and try to using lot of mechanical terms to confuse me and ask me to check his review online, which is surprise me, because it's just a simple logic question. besides, it is very 101 mechanic, if you have no idea on it, how can i sure you have enough knowledge to carry on other inspection part. at the end of phone call, he agree refund after he double check it, because it is weekend, so i just told him do it on monday, no rush. but when i call him on monday, he hand up my phone immediately and send me a email, basically said he is professional with a high standard, he is nothing wrong and wouldn't further contact about it. and of course, no mention about refund. when i thought this $395 was thrown out the window, my accounting find something interesting about mr.wayne, so i get my money back, it is the lucky part. but unlucky is, i have no idea what he do on my car:( i can only hope he is lazy, just tick on a paper without any improper test. i hope. "don't buy the lemon", well said mr. wayne. repliedJust Vehicle Inspections18 Sep 2024
Stephen in my view is an unreasonable Individual . In 26 years of conducting pre purchase inspections I’ve never encountered such a hard person to communicate with . It was Stephens way or no way. To try and please Stephen I went as far as refunding my fee in order to please him however that still wasn’t enough . Now, without due cause Stephen in his wisdom has decided to place a negative review regarding my services. All my other reviews are all 5 Stars. Hopefully people will bypass his review and look at the bigger picture in relation to my services and what everyone else has to say about me.
Frequently asked questions
Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?
31 years and over 14,000 inspections carried out. Focusing on Old Fashion service putting the customer first. Treating everyone the way I would like to be treated is the only way to operate.
What makes your pricing competitive?
Being the cheapest can be a trap as you don’t want your vehicle inspection to be carried out in a hurry. Your far better off to pay a bit extra to enable your inspector to take their time .
