What we love about our job is that every day brings a new set of challenges and brings us in contact with different people.  We see different conditions every day and the human body is always full of surprises.

The biggest question we get asked is should I see a physiotherapist or a chiropractor?  Our answer is always that when it comes to our practice, although each of our practitioners excel in specific areas. we are all trained to assess and diagnose any musculoskeletal condition.

At Activ Therapy, we treat the source of your problem and not just the symptoms.  Our approach utilises techniques from chiropractic and physiotherapy to provide effective and lasting solutions to your pain.  We use a hands on approach and provide dedicated one to one consultations every time.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

We treat all musculoskeletal conditions and accept all private health funds.  If you have a chronic disease management plan from your GP and an EPC referral then we can bulk bill your consult under medicare.  We also bulk bill consults under workers compensation, veteran affairs and CTP.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

Our senior physiotherapist, Richard has particular experience in biomechanics and complex musculoskeletal pain.  He has worked with elite power lifters, crossfit athletes, martial artists and soccer players.  Richard also has additional qualification in workplace injury and rehabilitation.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

Our senior physiotherapist has 12 years experience in dealing with injury and pain.  Both our physiotherapist and chiropractor have post-graduate qualifications and have done ongoing studies including dry needling, SFMA, muscle energy, sports chiropractic, sports taping and mulligans techniques.
