We have the usual insurances such as public liability. Although we have no official guarantee, any problems we will happily fix up.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I have always been passionate about animals. As a child i preferred non-fiction books about animals over stories. I like working with my hands and am a crafty person. It occurred to me one day that dog grooming would make me happy and I was right. I love this job

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

There was one time when grooming a dog that we noticed an injury on him. We told the owner who was unaware of it. She was able to take the dog to the vet and get it treated. She came back for his next groom and she expressed great gratitude. Its wonderful to help a dog this way.

What do you like most about your job?

I love getting to know the customers and the dogs. I love being able to help maintain the dog's health and watch them grow up. Im very passionate about my work.

Before choosing a groomer, ask about their history. Have they done a reputable, hands on course OR do they have years of experience working in a salon where they have been taught by other professionals? You want to be sure that your groomer is aware of all risks so they can avoid injury to your pet

What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?

Do we groom cats? Yes but on Thursdays only. Do you have eftpos? Yes How long does my dog have to stay? We like to keep the dogs for around 4 hours. This allows us to give them plenty of rest and opportunities for toileting and a drink.

We are well educated in grooming and animal care. We have years of experience and groom thousands of dogs a year. We have an excellent reputation and around 1500 customers. You can trust us to take care of your dog

We have a good system in our salon which allows for plenty of rest breaks. This is good for puppies, old dogs or those with ailments. Our shampoo is hypoallergenic with no added perfumes. Our 2 main groomers have completed their cert III through the Victorian College of Dog Grooming

We must know the breed, size, whether there is matting and the service you are after. Are you wanting a groom (leave the coat the same length but tidy face, feet and bottom), short clip or fluffy clip?

We accept cash, eftpos, Visa and Mastercard. Payment is on the day. Sorry, we do not take payments over the phone

We are particularly good at large breeds with double coats. We have the skill and woman-power to get all that dead coat out.  We are also very skilled at handling anxious and aggressive dogs
