An excellent level of knowledge and ability to make sense of our accounts. For the first time in years we have accounts that are accurate and we can rely on.
Frequently asked questions
Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?
ABBS, guarantees all of our work, and should any work need to be redone due to an ABBS error of our own making, we will rectify that error at no cost to the business. All ABBS bookkeepers are covered under the ABBS professional indemnity insurance policies we hold with Insurance Made Easy. Policy number 9302189 valid to 30th June 2017. .
How did you decide to get into your line of work?
We have a passion to make a real difference to the services provided to business by contract bookkeepers such as ABBS. The ATO completed research into bookkeeping services in 2005 and a report on that research was released in 2006 that stated that an estimated 90% of bookkeepers were incompetent and unqualified. Fortunately a nationally recognised course was released in September 2007 to train and qualify Australian bookkeepers which is progressively raising the standard. With ICB as a professional association supporting bookkeepers in Australia the improvement of these standards are also being raised.
