Our Law Firm is insured as per Law Society Rules. We do guarantee our work. We have vast experience in our office with 2 Solicitors and a Paralegal.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I have always worked in the legal field but especially enjoy Contract work. I like to work with numbers as well. This job gives me both of those, plus I get to interact with clients which you don't get in other areas of law.

I called a young lady one afternoon to advise her that she now owned her own home. She got so excited she swore and hung up, only to call back and apologise. I couldn't stop laughing as it was just so great to hear the excitement in her voice.

I love that I get to tell people that they own their dream home and hear the delight in their voices. It's the best part of my job, that's for sure.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

Am I able to contact you if I have any questions? I don't want to sound silly.  You should always be able to ask questions. This is something that I deal with on a daily basis and something that you will only do once or twice in your lifetime. No question is silly.

What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?

The Bank wants a copy of a document called a "Transfer". I don't have this. Where do I get it from?  That's okay, I have the Transfer and can send a copy through to the bank on your behalf. This is one of the most commonly asked questions I get from buyers.

We take pride in always advising our clients on what they need to do during the process of conveyancing. We are contactable 7 days a week so if there are any issues happening outside of normal business hours we can still be contacted to assist you

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

The Council area that the property is within, whether the property is going to be used by the buyer as a Principal Place of Residence or an Investment property. All councils charge differently for their searches and it's easier to give a more accurate quote if we can give search fees as well.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Have your Contract checked by a conveyancer prior to signing. Have your finance pre-approved as then there will be a lesser chance of extensions required. Have your searches done as soon as possible to ensure all searches are available prior to settlement.
