The arborist who removed the debris told her that the larger limb might have been weakened and should be examined for safety. I submitted an application to Sydney City Council, which not only approved some general pruning but also, and crucially, included the following Note: Note: An aerial inspection from a minimum AQF level 3 arborist of the upper canopy of Tree 1 is recommended for further assessments of branch attachments and if defects are present. Please instruct the arborist conducting the maintenance pruning of the trees to provide photos detailing if any potential hazardous branch attachments and/or defects are present. If necessary, additional pruning measures may be approved following the provision of this information.
