I am insured and I guarantee all my work, and additionally I guarantee all my workers and sub contractors work.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I basically fell in to it. I stayed at school and finished VCE and started at University. After a month I knew it wasn't for me and I knew I wanted to get in to building. I already had some experience labouring on work sites and wanted to get straight in to carpentry and building.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

I built a deck for a friend of a friend. He was actually a carpenter but was too busy and his wife had given up hassling him so they both decided to get me in. It was quite difficult just because of the design of the house. I managed to complete the deck not only exactly as they wanted (built out of square to suit the design of the house) but much quicker then I anticipated saving them quite a bit of money. They were so happy with the job they got me back a week later to put in a little ramp for the dog!

"I really like the way you did (insert completed job), are you able to do (insert job that needs to be completed)?  My answer more often then not is yes! And I am always honest if I can't do the job, plus I get straight on the phone and ring around looking for a recommended professional that can do the job.

I have never, and will never let down a client. I guarantee this because I rely on word of mouth for the majority of my work. I pride myself on my reliability and trustworthiness. This has been key to my current success in the industry.

I provide quality workmanship. But more importantly I'm honest. If I tell you I will be at your house at 7am in the morning I will be there and I won't be late. I pride myself on professionalism and punctuality. My honesty extends to my work. If I don't have the tools to do a job I will be up front and even more, I will go out of my way to find someone, recommended by colleagues, to do the job for you.

What makes your pricing competitive?

I do not believe in charging like a wounded bull, as most tradesmen I have come across do. I believe in quality workmanship for a reasonable price. I will complete the job to such a high standard that I have never had a complaint when it comes time to hand over payment. In fact I regularly receive very kind praise at the end of my jobs.

How do you normally charge for your service?

It really depends on the job. Obviously all jobs are different and must be treated that way. If I feel the job is too difficult to price as there are too many variables I charge a day rate. However I really do try to give the client a choice of either a day rate and I use my experience to give a highly accurate time frame. Or I can offer a fixed quote, subject to change ONLY ON CLIENT VARIATIONS. To clear this up the original quote I provide is the price of the job as long as the job doesn't change. If half way through you decide you want something different I obviously need to change the price to cover any variations.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I am a trade qualified carpenter. I have completed certificate 3 in building and construction. My experience is vast having done work for commercial builders, domestic builders, Real Estate agents, private clients. My skills as previously mentioned are quite extensive. I am confident and capable of all forms of construction and maintenance.
